Since launching in 2006, the Spiz'ike has seemingly been the lone Jordan Brand hybrid to avoid high levels of negative scrutiny. As a result, we continue to see the model drop in various new make-ups, with more due out throughout the rest of the year.
Pictured here is a Spiz'ike sample styled in black nubuck with University Gold highlights throughout. The yellow hue turns up on the lace and heel tabs, midsole, Air unit and contrast stitching. Tonal elephant print rands wrap the toebox and heel, while dark grey takes care of the laces and inner lining. The lower part of the midsole is done in white and sits atop a tri-colored Air Jordan III outsole.
If you're a fan of this particular look, you'll be happy to know that these will indeed hit retail and we're the first to give you that release information. The wait will be a little lengthy, as the Black/Gold Spiz'ike will drop on Saturday, December 8 for $175. Kids sizes will also be included in that run. If you'd like to grab these samples early, they're available now from OregonSole on eBay.
