Ever since Mache first laid eyes on the Jordan Son of Mars, he knew he'd attempt a Yeezy custom. Finding various elements of the shoe similar, including the bulky cross-strap, vintage Jordan midsole, translucent sole and high-cut padded collar, he felt that the conversion would natural.
To bring the concept to life, Mache painted the recently-released "Club Purple" Son of Mars black and added a glossy patent-like finish to the strap. The traditional elephant print overlay on the toebox has been changed to grey, while pink hits appear on the inner lining, heel tab and "shark teeth." Additionally, the Yeezy "Y" print has been etched into the heel and the soles have been given the glow-in-the-dark treatment.
As of now, this pair is a one of one. Are you feeling the Son of Mars "Yeezy" transformation?
