About Nike Inc.'s Black History Month program:

Earlier in the month, Nike Inc. honored the 2013 Black History Month with Nike and Jordan product collections, asking consumers to answer the mantra "BE BOLD. BE TRUE." In keeping with a tradition of supporting those organizations that give back and inspire youth, Nike Inc. will make a financial contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America with proceeds from the Nike BHM Collection.

The BHM program is an initiative created and managed by passionate Nike employees whom collaborate every year to not only inspire their communities with a premium product collection, but also celebrate the month through an annual day of service and the iconic "Sneaker Ball" event held in Portland, Oregon.
