The Jordan Crescent City Collection celebrates the colorful landscape and rich culture of New Orleans, home of the 2014 NBA All-Star Game. Special footwear was created for All-Stars Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.
Vibrant colors and pops of infrared tie the collection together. Known for its unique cuisine, music and spirit, the Big Easy is represented by new colorways of the Air Jordan XX8 SE, Melo M10, CP3.VII and Super.Fly 2.
Inspired by the elegant structures that litter the French Quarter, the crackle texture upper of the Jordan XX8 SE honors the distinct cityscape of the Crescent City. The electric elements are inspired by the colorful streets and lifestyle found throughout the area.
Paying homage to the historic roots of jazz music, the M10 features a brushed metallic heel counter that plays into an atomic mango phylon carrier, providing stability and support. Brass accents featured throughout the upper echo the hue of jazz instruments.
Purple, often associated with pride and passion, celebrates the soul of New Orleans festivities. An atomic violet upper pairs with metallic gold accents and a speckled midsole that reflects the colorful energy and grittiness of the streets in the Creole capital.
Centered on a dark powder-blue upper, the Super.Fly 2 embodies the vibrant energy of New Orleans. The two-toned crackle on the tongue and graphic texture on the toe box reference the historic architecture of the city. Sophisticated gold stitching is featured in the Dynamic Fit textile straps.
The Jordan Crescent City Collection will be available at select retail stores and jordan.com on February 14.
