Michael Jordan won his seventh scoring title and reclaimed the steals crown as the Chicago Bulls stampeded their way to a third consecutive championship after topping Charles Barkley and the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Finals. Though Barkley was named the regular season MVP, Jordan once again received Finals honors.
For title three, MJ was strapped in with the Air Jordan VIII, tricked out with anti-inversion straps, a polycarbonate torsion plate, bold colors and a fuzzy tongue patch that has become one of the most popular visual elements of any model.
