The "Dream Team" ran through international competition at the 92 Olympic Games, setting the tone for international expansion for the next two decades. Michael truly became a global icon as the US claimed gold by an average of 44 points per game.
MJ's shoe of '92? The Air Jordan VII, inspired by Nike's Huarache running shoe technology. The VII set a new standard in comfort and weight with its neoprene sockliner. An unexpected twist came in the form of vibrant West African tribal art design cues.
