After wearing Air Jordans on court for the past three years, Dallas Mavericks guard Monta Ellis has finally signed an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand, sources told RealGM's Shams Charania. The deal was signed prior to the new NBA season.
Ellis, a signature athlete for AND1 until 2011, has spent most of the season playing in the Jordan Super.Fly 3. He's also worn retros and most recently laced up the 'Gift of Flight' Air Jordan XX9.
While it's no surprise that Ellis has landed with the brand, he's not yet listed as an official Team Jordan family member on nike.com.
UPDATE: Ellis confirms his Jordan Brand deal in an interview with Nick Metallinos of Starting 5 Online.
