You may remember some of the most famous "playoff" Air Jordans featuring predominantly black uppers in the past. And that ties directly to this years' Jordan Brand Playoff Pack, which takes inspiration from "clutch sport moments when athletes turned to black apparel and footwear to show they meant business," according to the official press release.

While the Air Jordan XX8 SE and Melo M10 get makovers in the materials and color departments, the Super.Fly 2 and CP3.VII recieve performance upgrades as well. The Super.Fly 2 PO gets lighter and stronger reinforcements with the addition of Dynamic Flywire and an external TPU heel counter. The CP3.VII AE features no-sew construction and fully exposed Dynamic Flywire.

The shoes feature color blocking designed to be team-friendly, as well as being enhanced with a black reflective material. The pack launches globally on April 9th - a week prior to the season's end - which means we may get to see Melo wear his shoe on court whether the Knicks make the playoffs or not.
