Though he slid to number 22 in May's draft, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel didn't have to wait long to hear his name called when the NFL announced their top jersey sellers of the first quarter.

Manziel tops the new list, which is based on jerseys sold on nflshop.com from April 1 to July 17. He's followed by Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning and Colin Kaepernick. Another surprise was Michael Sam of the St. Louis Rams landing at number 6.

The best selling team was the Seattle Seahawks, represented by Wilson, Richard Sherman, the fan-inspired 12th Man and Marshawn Lynch. San Francisco came in at number 2 and the Cleveland Browns shot up to number 3.
