Getting today's Martin Luther King Jr. Day games underway was John Wall and the Washington Wizards, who hosted the Philadelphia 76ers at the Verizon Center. For the game, Wall debuted his 'Black History Month' adidas J Wall 1 signature shoe, which pays homage to the college leg of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's legendary career.
Making his first game in the celebratory colorway count, Wall had 10 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds to help the Wizards coast to a 111-76 victory.
The ‘BHM’ J Wall 1 drops at adidas.com for $115 on Jan. 30.
