When John Wall made the jump from Reebok to adidas Basketball back in January, we reported that he'd be debuting a new silhouette this spring. Well it's pretty much spring, and as promised, Wall gave us our first on-court look at the upcoming CrazyQuick in last night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Weighing in at 11.2 ounces, the CrazyQuick features an all-new upper that utilizes a 4-way stretch lycra base to sync flex with the tooling. A 3D molded toecap wraps over the top and sides of the midsole to add lightweight protection. Range of motion is increased by a new heel notch design. Next generation PureMotion consists of 17 decoupled rubber pods that grab the court. Injected EVA adapts to an enlarged and extended SprintFrame to moderate all movement. Herringbone traction provides "stop on a dime" control.

In a matchup with fellow adidas point guard Ricky Rubio, Wall laced up a Player Exclusive colorway of the CrazyQuick. The eye-catching kicks sport a silver upper with Wizards-inspired navy and red accents throughout.

The adiPure CrazyQuick will be part of adidas Basketball's New York-based launch event later today. More information as we approach the launch, and be sure to be following us on Instagram and Twitter for the up-to-the-minute updates live from the event.
