Oregon-based and Minnesota born, young Jimmy Li is celebrating his victorious battle with cancer by designing next year's Doernbecher Freestyle Air Jordan.
According to Jimmy's Instagram page, that shoe will be the much beloved Air Jordan 11, an appropriate selection for the Doernbecher Freestyle XI Collection. Neither the colorway or release date have been confirmed, but this is certainly an exciting development.
Above all, congratulations to Jimmy for being cancer free. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
**UPDATE**
According to a new post by Jimmy, he actually won't be designing the Air Jordan 11 — at least not as of today. He adds that he can still make a DB Jordan, just not the 11. We'll continue to follow the story here at Sole Collector.
