Yesterday, the nation's top high school prospects showcased their talents at the United Center in the 37th Annual McDonald's All-American Game.
This year's top-ranked prospect and Duke commit Jahlil Okafor won co-MVP honors after leading the West to a 105-102 victory over the East. In 22 minutes of action, Okafor scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Justin Jackson, also named co-MVP, scored 23 points for the East.
Okafor and Jackson will see each other again this year, as Jackson is a North Carolina signee. The All-American Game was just start of the next chapter in the Tobacco Road rivalry.
Once again, adidas was the game's official outfitter. The sleeved uniform system made its second-straight appearance, highlighted by holographic numbering and silver stripes. Most players laced up custom versions of the adidas D Rose 4.5, available now at retailers like Eastbay.
