With Monta Ellis now in the fold, Jordan Brand should now focus on signing Phoenix Suns guard Isaiah Thomas — if they haven't already.
Like Ellis, Thomas has moved on from his previous endorsement deal (Reebok) to play in various models from the Jordan catalog. He started with CP3.VII PEs from last season that likely belonged to Kendall Marshall, before gradually adding retros into his rotation. Last night, he took on the Detroit Pistons in the 'Fear' Air Jordan 3 Retro.
This season, Thomas is averaging 15 points and 4 assists playing an average of 24 minutes per game. With these numbers, and hopefully some good fortune health wise, we may see Thomas named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year.
Thomas passion for the brand and high potential for hardware make him a great candidate to be the next member of Team Jordan. And he's only 25 years old, so sky is the limit for this potential partnership.
