Is Michael Jordan Bringing Al Jefferson Over to Jordan Brand?

With Kemba Walker and Lance Stephenson locked into deals with rival brands, it makes sense that Jordan would want his other star wearing Jumpman on the court.

Quietly effective, Al Jefferson is one of the best post players in NBA and the leader of the Charlotte Hornets. Last season, Big Al averaged about 22 points and 11 rebounds, nabbing his first ever All NBA selection. With Jefferson's success, it looks like Michael Jordan may be trying to add the face of his franchise to the Jordan Brand roster.

In preseason games, Jefferson has been spotted wearing the Air Jordan XX8 SE and Air Jordan XX9. He spent his first season in Charlotte wearing Nike Basketball, but laced up the XX8 SE and Super.Fly 2 in the playoffs. Could he be the next member of Team Jordan?

As of now, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Cody Zeller, Jeff Taylor and Bismack Biyombo are the members of the Hornets officially listed as Jordan Brand athletes. With Kemba Walker and Lance Stephenson locked into deals with rival brands, it makes sense that Jordan would want his other star wearing Jumpman on the court.

Nothing official has been announced, but let us know if you think Jefferson would be a good addition to Jordan Brand and stick with Sole Collector for updates on this developing story.
