Despite a delayed start, it'd be fair to say New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert has been adidas Basketball's standout athlete on the court this season. Shump has laced up a wide variety of models, Jeremy Scott sneakers and his very own Player Exclusives, all while proudly representing the 3-Stripes off the court as well. As a result, adidas has called on the defensive specialist to debut a few new Real Deal colorways in recent outings, the latest in today's MSG matchup with the Toronto Raptors.
First previewed by Iman on Instagram, this Real Deal is black-based with grey detailing at the toe and NYC-flavored royal and orange accents along the toebox, side panels and midsole. Are we looking at a Player Exclusive or a pair set to hit retail in the near future? More on that as new information surfaces, but in the meantime, check out a few game shots below and let us know if you'd to see adidas drop this colorway.
Update: According to our friends at Packer Shoes, it turns out that this Real Deal is a custom by Jason Negron aka Sole Swap. The kicks were hand delivered to Shumpert on his behalf.
