If You Don't Want to Spend $400 on the Jordan Shine

A look at a more budget-friendly version of the Jordan Shine.

by Brendan Dunne

As evidenced by the number of pairs that hit sales sections, the $400 Jordan Shine wasn't for everybody.

Perhaps a bit more pedestrian is the new Jordan Illusion shown here, a model that's similar in its build if not in its price (the Illusion will hit at $105). The shoe also differs in from the aforementioned Shine in that it does a bit more borrowing - you'll also see piping that looks like it was borrowed from the Jordan 2 and a chunk of elephant print on the back from the Jordan 3, along with the obvious Jordan 1 outsole. Get more imagery on them below and watch for the new Jordan Illusion soon at retailers like Finishline.
