On point TimmyBrixxx...SC needs to have you as a free lancer or someone that really knows materials, manufacturing, the supply chain and IS a snearkerhead for years, decades really, not a few months...pfffffffft
On shoe trees...I have seen the wrong ones stuffed in shoes from the retail boxes. Shoe trees can be good ones or bad ones, it is just like the shoe box itself and who they subcontracted to make them, sometimes that same factory or a sister factory. Sometimes from multiple factories, using slightly different grades of Cardboard. I have seen both nice, cheaper and off color plastic shoe trees in various XI retro releases from the retail stores. Sure this matters but sometimes it is just relative, like the shoe box.
1st- where have you guys been for 3 yrs?
2nd- There are SO many flaws in your comparison I for one think it should be removed and redone by someone more informed on this subject.(If you would like help im here)..There are in fact many ways to tell GM from RD and these reasons given above dont even scratch the surface..This is a piss poor example AT BEST!
3- Your observation of the box and trees were spot on, but the stitching you reference is not..By far..The color of the stitching is not a red flag..CGs were produced by more than one factory, hence different color stitching.(If i buy 100 tiles for a floor...I hire 2 contractors to lay 50 tiles a piece.1 uses white glue the other uses black glue..The tiles are still 100% authentic)...I own a 1000% legit pair of CG11s purchased at FTL with receipt for proof..My pairs stitching is BLACK.(you have done nothing with this example but cause more confusion...
4- your toe cap theory is straight BS..If you cant see the midsole behind that legit pairs toe cap you need glasses, better yet you should not be doing legit checks..
5- The insole is not a "sock liner" Who is writing this BS?? Really SC?? Do you guys need help over there..From where im sitting it truly looks like it! Both INSOLES show the AJ12 stamp man..SMH.. So do all legit pairs. However you can see the color difference and one was glued in..Legit pairs are glued down.
The real tells for GMs are things like shape and size of cuts, collar shapes, toe box shape, logos, outsole color, misaligned tract pods etc. etc.. You guys really lost some respect from me with this article right here..I would advise you run over to NT and read the GM thread or if you want to post comparisons use someone who knows a little more about this subject..actually use someone who at least knows the parts of the shoe! "Sock liners" Pssssshhh.
