Highlight: Kevin Durant Scores 54 Points in Nike KD 6 'Home' PE

words // Brandon Richard

If there's one player that could seriously threaten Kobe's modern mark of 81 points, it's Kevin Durant. With his unguardable size, skillset and efficiency, Durant has the ability to rack up points in bunches, as seen in last night's game against the Golden State Warriors.

Sensing that it was the kind of game in which his teammates needed him to carry the load, Durant stepped up his aggression. His 19 field goals were more than the 18 combined scored by the rest of the starters. With 54 points and six assists on 67.9% shooting, Durant became the first player to score at least 54 points on at least 65% shooting while recording at least five assists since Michael Jordan in 1988. Behind Durant's new career-high, the Thunder picked up an impressive 127-121 home victory.

While dropping 54, Durant was laced up in a 'Home' PE colorway of the Nike KD 6. The shoe features a white base, photo blue medial panel and orange accents.

Check out a video of KD's performance above and a few shots from the game below.
