Hanon, located in the oil town of Aberdeen, Scotland, has gained a reputation for making solid collaborative product on the sneaker front, and the shop's work on the ASICS Gel-Lyte III — once again — is no exception. To find inspiration for these shoes, all the shop had to do is look outside of its northernly location and see the sky during the yearly solstices.
The result was a pair of a runners with purple and blue upper with a 3M form stripe that really lights up the shoe. The "Solstice" Gel-Lyte III also has translucent hits on the sole and co-branding on the split tongue.
Just like previous Hanon collaborations, most notably the "Wildcats" Gel-Lyte IIIs, these sneakers are sure to be a problem and will be hunted down long after they're gone from retail shelves.
Expect the "Solstice" Gel-Lyte IIIs to release on November 28, 2015.
