We've grown accustomed to Team Jordan athletes receiving perks during their time with the brand, but exactly how far those perks reach are still sometimes surprising. Take this past weekend's 11th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Tournament for example. While His Airness hit the links in his Air Jordan 2012-inspired golf shoes, it was Dwight Freeney who really stole the footwear show.
The Indianapolis Colts defensive end teed up in a unique golf version of the "Playoff" Air Jordan XII, which happens to be prepping for a return to retail in its basketball form later this month. Freeney's customs appear to feature a low cut and are bottomed off with course-ready spikes.
