After giving away endorsement deals and stacks of cash in previous years, adidas is upping the ante for this year’s NFL Combine.

Today, adidas announced that the brand is offering custom Porsche 911 Carrera sports cars to the three fastest prospects at the Combine. Cheetah graphic patterns are painted on the sides of the cars, mirroring adidas’ Uncaged adizero 5-Star 40 cleat, which launches today.

The offer is open to athletes who ink deals with adidas prior to running their official 40-yard dashes later this month. Last month, it was reported that adidas officials have been given the green light to sign as many as 250 new NFL athletes in an effort to increase brand awareness. The aggressive approach to this year’s incoming rookie class appears to be the first step in revamping the football roster.

Tipping the scale at just 4.7 ounces, the Uncaged adizero 5-Star 40 is the lightest football cleat ever. The cleat is constructed with reinforced SprintSkin Ultra, which is touted as being 15 times stronger than steel, yet light enough to float on water. Football’s lightest plate, SprintFrame, features rebound characteristics in the forefoot to give players ultimate propulsion from toe-off through the final step of the 40-yard dash.

The Uncaged 5-Star 40 Collection is available for $150 each at adidas.com, Eastbay & Dicks Sporting Goods.
