This Saturday marks the release of fragment design’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High collaboration. The shoe, essentially a royal blue version of the classic ‘Black Toe’ scheme, is being called the first of Jordan Brand’s remastered retros. To see how much truth that claim holds, here’s a series of comparison shots against last year’s ‘Black Toe’ retro by @gc911.

While the 2013 release is a fairly accurate retro, there’s a few things that were changed on the fragment collab to align it with the original silhouette. The collar is noticeably higher, and the back tab is about half as wide, two things collectors have noted about Jordan 1 retros for years.
