NYC-area sneakerheads have no doubt noticed a void on the 34th st. footwear scene, as the Footaction and adjacent Flight 23 stores have been closed for a while now.
The locations both opened back up today, complete with a new space that they're calling the Kicks Lounge, which looks to be more Nike Sportswear oriented in terms of merchandise. Both Footaction and Flight 23 have all of the Air Jordan/Nike All-Star releases on display, so at the very least you can swing by and take a photo of the "Mirror" Foamposites to pretend like you got a pair.
Footaction/Flight 23 is located at 225 West 34th Street.
