Nike Foamposites Help Identify Suspect in Robbery

A man robbed a convenience store while wearing Pink Foamposites.

One man went through all the trouble of putting together a black outfit to rob a convenience store only to throw on Pink Nike Foamposites to complete his look.

The Daily News Journal reports that the Kangaroo Market in La Vergne, TN was robbed at around 3:30am on Tuesday morning by the man depicted here, who fled with "handful of cigarillos, four packs of Newport cigarettes, and an undisclosed amount of cash." The Foamposites on feet aren't a dead giveaway to the criminal's identity given that the pair worn was a general release, but the brazen footwear is still a strange choice for someone hoping to remain inconspicuous. The Reebok Classic was ranked as thieves' most common footwear choice back in 2010, but there's no word on where the Foamposite One would rank on an updated list.

This suspect is still at large, but at least police have at least one clue to find him — as ubiquitous as it may be.
