First Thoughts // SC Team Talks Crazy Light 2

May 27th 2012 | 100 comments

The Crazy Light 2 is the latest innovation from adidas Basketball to hit stores, and the SC Team of Brennan, Luis and Nick recently chopped it up to share their first thoughts on the new 9.5 ounce hoop shoe, its marketing campaign and where they'd like to see the series head.

Can you make a shoe too light?? I think so. Speaking for myself there are certain things that I use that I prefer some weight to, and if I were to play basketball I know I would want some weight behind my shoe.

Yeah, they definitely couldn't handle a player like Josh Smith, let alone you.

i tried on a pair. they are hella light. the only thing i don't see much of is protection around the foot. i mean, it's light and all, but it doesn't seem to have much support onthe ankle. it feels way too thin around the shoe. the sole is nice. i don't see them lasting that long on court. maybe i'm wrong. i only tried them on in a store and already came to this assumption.
