FILA is set for a major comeback, beginning with some of the brand's favorite models from the past this Spring.

Previewed already here on Sole Collector, we now have some better images of the upcoming FILA Ninety Six retro, which was originally Grant Hill's second signature basketball shoe with the brand.  You'll see two orginal colorways from 1996: the white/navy set to release on March 15th and the USA colorway which Hill wore in the 1996 Olympics.  Three more brand new colorways for the Ninety Six are included, with an Orlando Magic inspired colorway along with grey-based and white/grey/lime versions.

Also coming this Spring is the Original Fitness, one of FILA's most classic silhouettes.  The Original Fitness will be available in a foursome of red, white and navy variations.  You'll also get a peek at The Cage in a complimentary colorway to the white/grey/lime Ninety Six.

Are you excited for the return of these classic FILA models this Spring?

Great that these are coming out again for those who had em back in the day, but in general, the shoe is just too plain

Even though these are classics, I just can't rock filas anymore. They went so far downhill and ended up at Walmart type stores for dirt cheap. I mine as well buy my kicks at Payless if I'm gonna rock fila. I will say that the quality looks good but the fila name equals cheap and broke to me now.

I have always been of the opinion of "rock what you like" regardless of price and brand instead of trying to keep up with the Jones' and going broke for the sake of looking cool among your friends.

That being said, I would cop those grey ones when they become available...

"And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel my pain just smile back"

I loved Filas back in the 90's but I just can't see myself rocking em now. Just way to plain. But I totally understand the cats that love em. Especially the diehard Grant Hill fans. Have fun copping em
