While the Nike MAG with power laces won't release until 2016, it looks like some people will get their hands on pairs before that.
Fake pairs that is – bootlegs are already being produced. Instagram account fake_education posted a video earlier this week showing an up-close look at a replica with functional power laces. While it's unfortunate that fakes are on their way, it is impressive on some level that people have already emulated Nike's tech on the shoe, which was presumably kept secret during the development process.
