As expected, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade laced up the special "Veterans Day" colorway of his Li-Ning Way of Wade signature shoe in yesterday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Paying tribute to those who have served and continue to serve in the United States Military, the shoe carries a patriotic red, white and blue theme, complete with star detailing on the toebox, tongue and laces.
For Wade, the sneakers will be the only thing he'd like to remember about the game. He scored just 8 points on 3-of-15 shooting in the Heat's 104-86 loss to the Grizzlies. Miami is now 5-2 on the season.
