With his Houston Rockets contract signed, Dwight Howard went to work at the Toyota Center this week, bringing in an all-time great to show him a few pointers in the paint.
Regarded as the game's most skilled post player, former Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon joined the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year for a workout session, which also included an appearance by head coach and fellow post expert Kevin McHale.
For his workout, Dwight laced up his upcoming adidas D Howard 4 signature shoe in a "Lakers" PE colorway. Dwight debuted the 4 during last season's playoffs, so it's no surprise that he has a few pairs on deck while adidas works on his Rockets customs.
As reported earlier this week, the D Howard 4 will launch November 1 in three colorways.
