We're treated to our best look yet at the upcoming Griffey Max 1 covered in Nike's iconic safari print.
Griffey's first signature shoe with the Swoosh, Nike Sportswear continued their safari craze with the print helping bring to life the now iconic model worn by the kid in the mid '90s. A combination of black nubuck and traditional safari print covers Jr's kicks throughout the upper, and are topped with hits of hot red over Griffey's number 24 on the collar strap and outsole sitting below.
The "Safari" Nike Air Griffey Max 1 PRM is set to drop at select Nike Sportswear accounts such as Rock City Kicks on September 7th.
