Delonte West Details New Sneaker Concept On Twitter

While not everyone's signature shoe plans become a reality, Delonte West recently shared his ideas for his very own Croc-inspired injection molded high top signature model.

There's a standard line we've always heard from everyone in the league: "Your dream is to first make it to the NBA. Then you hope to have your own shoe."

When things don't quite go according to plan, you sometimes have to take matters into your own hands. You can start your own brand like Stephon Marbury did, or sign with a foreign brand like JaVale McGee. Not too many brands out there throwing sig shoes their way these days.

As we've come to find out over the past few years, the usual product brief for a signature shoe goes down over a series of corporate meetings and presentations lasting a few months -- but in just five tweets late last night, Celtics guard Delonte West spelled out exactly everyything that his dream signature shoe would include.

The new DWest shoe, priced affordably at $29.99, would be fully foam injection molded, a construction method of course popularized by Crocs. The high top would feature vents along the sides of the upper, as well as leather Red Wing boot inspired laces. To spice up the packaging, West even offered up including a camo fatigue colored Snuggie.

While that's one hell of a visual, would you cop the new DWest shoe if it somehow ever made it to production?
