Is DeAndre Jordan the newest member of adidas Basketball?
While no announcement has been made by the brand, the Los Angeles Clippers center has been wearing adidas sneakers while in China for the NBA's Global Games. Yesterday, Jordan practiced in a the red-based Rose 773 IV, and he's wearing a Clippers colorway of the Crazyquick 3 in today's game against the Hornets. Ironically, the Crazyquick 3 is the same shoe of Kenneth Faried's that Jordan threw at a cameraman last week.
Jordan had been wearing Nike since his Under Armour deal expired during Summer 2013. While lacing up adidas shoes doesn't mean that he's signed a deal, the sudden change is at least an indication that the sides have been doing some talking. And having a core member of a Nike and Jordan-heavy team in LA wearing adidas would be incentive for the brand.
