While it was just an exhibition game as the NBA season begins to get underway this week, the city of Portland is already buzzing about new rookie point guard Damian Lillard's debut performance.
Facing off against Hall of Famer Steve Nash, Lillard put up a nice statline of 14 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds in an efficient 24 minute outing. He even got the ultimate nod of approval from the internets during the Blazers' 93-75 win by way of cracking the old worldwide Twitter trending topic list.
