One of the most important elements in Damian Lillard's decision to sign an endorsement deal with adidas was the ability to provide gear for his old AAU and high school basketball teams in Oakland.
Recently, the rookie sensation used adidas' sneaker customization platform miadidas to work on a special make-up of the Rose 3 for the Oakland High Wildcats, styled in the school's signature colors of blue and white. Damian also added touches of grey to the upper, a black outsole and "O HIGH" lasered on the heel tab.
Lillard himself has spent the early part of his rookie season wearing Derrick Rose's 773 model. Will we see Portland's star rookie in mi colorways of the Rose 3 soon? We can only hope.
