Converse First String unveils its newest special edition Jack Purcell offerings, each featuring Japanese kasuri-style uppers. 

Kasuri, the Japanese version of ikat, traditionally involves fabric that has been woven with dyed fibers to create specific patterns and images. Converse First String integrated the kasuri aesthetic into the JP Johnny Hi and Johnny Ox, along with tortoise-shell eyelets and premium sockliners, to create two premium casual sneakers. 

The Converse First String Jack Purcell "Kasuri" pack is available now at select First String retailers, including Melbourne's Up There Store.
