The CNCPTS x Asics Gel Respector "Coca" isn't the only special sneaker that Concepts has planned for this weekend. Also coming is this, a "Black Widow" design that's exclusive to Miami and limited to just 250 pairs worldwide.
The shoe again references Miami's underworld, and is a tribute to the infamous queenpin Griselda Blanco, a.k.a. the Black Widow, who was instrumental in the city's cocaine trade in the 1970s and '80s. The shoe has a black suede build, CNCPTS branding and graphic insoles with the black widow's hour glass shape. Pairs will come with a special black widow box, seen below.
Watch for the sneakers to release this weekend at the mysterious CNCPTS Miami location – the address of which hasn't been disclosed. Readers hoping to visit the space should watch @CNCPTS for info on how gain access to the space.
