Closer Look // Penny's 1-of-1 All White Nike Air Foamposite One

When Penny Hardaway first unveiled an all white player exclusive version of his iconic signature Air Foamposite One yesterday on Twitter, we really only had his lone camera phone shot to go off.

As Nike Sportswear's Marc Dolce explains, "When I was talking with Penny, he asked for some custom Foamposites. He had a pair of the triple black colorway from ten years ago, and he was hoping that I could remake a new pair."

While Dolce indeed ordered up an all black size 14 Foamposite One exclusive for Penny, he also took things one step further. "For the summer, he said he also loves all white sneakers," Dolce continues. "So, we did a promo Air Force 1 Low, an all white Zoom Rookie LWP, and he wanted a pair of all white Foamposite Ones, since they were never done before."

As Penny tweeted, these are indeed "exclusive," and were only made for Hardaway in his size 14 to wear for last night's "Memphis Madness" event.
