The Nets played their final game in New Jersey last night before moving to their new home in Brooklyn next season, so today we'll take a look back at a commercial featuring two former Nets stars. While the move is nowhere near as dramatic emotionally or geographically as say, the Sonics being stolen from Seattle and moved to Oklahoma City, it was still a sad night for for many loyal New Jersey Nets fans.
New Jersey saw many great players pass through the Garden State with the Nets including Darryl Dawkins, Bernard King, Drazen Petrovic, Kenny Anderson, and Jason Kidd (as well as NBA basketball nerd heroes like Kerry Kittles, Sam Cassell, and Yinka Dare). Today's Classic Commercial features two of the best Nets players of the 2000's with Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson. This commercial for Nike Shox Basketball is actually pretty ridiculous, because we all know Vince would smoke Richard in a dunk contest, but it's still fun to watch.
