Classic Commercial: Air Jordan IV

Check out the Air Jordan IV in another classic Air Jordan commercial with Mike and Mars.

Yesterday, May 7th, marked the 23 year anniversary of Micheal Jordan's game winning and series winning shot for the Bulls against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of their first round playoff series in 1989.  Known as "The Shot", it was Michael's first, but not last, game winner of his NBA Playoff career.  In honor of The Shot, Jordan Brand will be releasing a new colorway of the Air Jordan IV inspired by the Cavs'  blue and orange this Saturday, May 12th.

With both The Shot's anniversary and the release of the new colorway, this week's Classic Commercial takes a look back at an original ad for the Air Jordan IV featuring Mars Blackmon.  In this commercial we see two of the original Air Jordan IV's: White/Cement and, the shoes he had on while shooting The Shot, the Black/Cement or "Bred" colorway.  In this bit of shameless advertising, Nike and Mars let you know that you can't do what Michael does, but you most definitely can buy his shoes.
