After giving us a look at several never-before-seen Air Jordan 4 Player Exclusives earlier this month, Carmelo Anthony took to Instagram again today to preview his upcoming Melo M8 Advance signature shoe in three colorways. The new model features Hyperfuse construction, patent overlays, Zoom cushioning and a TPU cage that cradles the foot for added stability.
To spare everybody the trouble of coming up with nicknames, Melo also let us know the inspiration behind each pair. The first is an obvious "Knickerbockers" colorway decked out white, orange and royal. Part of the upcoming WWF/WWE-inspired pack is the silver-based "Legion of Doom" colorway, which of course salutes the legendary Road Warriors tag team of Hawk and Animal. Lastly, there's a red shoe dubbed "Red Hook" in tribute to the famous Brooklyn projects Melo calls home.
Several M8 Advance details still left to be sorted, but you can expect the model to launch in October in the neighborhood of $140.
