The late Bruce Lee is honored on this new collaboration, from BAIT and Onitsuka Tiger, which celebrates his Jeet Kune Do martial arts technique via the Corsair sneaker.
The shoe will release at all seven BAIT locations on Nov. 27 to commemorate what would have been Lee's 75th birthday (an online raffle is also being held here). BAIT will hold special launch parties at locations important to Lee: its stores in Melrose, San Francisco and Seattle will hold events as will a special BAIT pop-up in Hong Kong (located at G/f, 29-29A, Chi Kiang St, To Kwa Wan, Kowloon).
Icons from Bruce Lee Enterprises appear, as do materials influenced by traditional Kung Fu garb. In addition, Lee's signature adorns the aglets and his name is embossed in gold on the heel of the shoe.
As teased in the photo below, this pair is the first of two to come from the BAIT x Onitsuka Tiger x Bruce Lee project.
