Foot Locker's House of Hoops is preparing to set up shop in Sneaker Capital, USA. This Saturday, the basketball footwear specialty store will officially open its doors at Portland's Washington Square Mall, with a special appearance from former Trail Blazers guard and Nike athlete Brandon Roy. DJ Skee will handle hosting duties, while music will be provided by DJ Nature. The event starts at 2:00 p.m. PST.
To celebrate the grand opening, Nike product customization will be available Friday through Sunday. A free basketball skills academy will also be held at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA on Saturday. More details below.
