Ronnie Fieg recently let the world know that the Asics Gel Sight, a 1992 runner from the brand, was coming back via the upcoming West Coast Project from him and Kith.
Beating that special edition to retail is this version of the shoe, which was created for the 1992 Olympics. Asics wasn't an offiicial sponsor so there are no rings logos or actual mentions of the games on the sneakers, but the "World Challenger" script on the tongue as well as the color configuration makes the tie-in clear. This sneaker hasn't arrived at U.S. retailers, but overseas shops including Hanon have them now. Expect for the Gel Sight to stick around in retro form with more colorways coming later in the year.
