This Asics Release Would Sell Out if It Were a Collab

Textured leather and a vague Miami vibe on this Asics release.

Every once in a while, a silhouette that's always around in retro form, take the Asics Gel Lyte III for example, shows up in a colorway that would get snapped if it had the "collaboration" label, but instead ends up on sale racks without one.

This is definitely one of those times. The Asics runner is distanced slightly from the standard suede/mesh combo and given more leather paneling, something that doesn't happen that often even when there are outside entities involved. The white leather has a faint croc embossed look and the accenting colors kind of convey a Miami Vice theme (imagine this as a daytime sequel to Shoe Gallery's pair).  Doing its best to answer the question of whether this pair will hit sales is Titolo, which has the sneaker in stock now.
