Asics look to its Japanese heritage this upcoming Asics Gel Lyte III "Crane" release.
The shoe is part of the two-pair "Crane and Turtle" pack that references the Japanese proverb "Crane lives for 1,000 years; turtle lives for 10,000 years." Obscured in these images is the graphic insole which has a more direct reference with crane feather graphics. The colorway here might feel familiar to Asics fans, as it kind of splits the difference between HAL's "Brick" and "Mortar" versions of the GT-II and Gel Lyte III, respectively.
This Asics Gel Lyte III "Crane" style is starting to arrive at European retailers like Afew now.
