There's being a part of a trade, and there's being part of a four-team blockbuster in which you're moved to a team losing a franchise cornerstone. That's the predicament Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo finds himself in these days. However, the five-year veteran doesn't see the move from Denver to Orlando as disappointing, but rather as an opportunity to grow.

As a way to give fans old and new a little insight into who he is, Afflalo recently joined Athlete Interactive to film a short documentary capturing a day in his life. From the Compton gym where he played high school ball to his alma mater UCLA to a visit at his father’s home, "A Day in the Life" gives us an inside look at the experiences and people who have shaped Arron into the player and person he is today. You can check out that clip above.

While you're watching, be sure to keep an eye out for the never-before-seen adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 Low. Well, we actually did see Afflalo lace them up for Orlando Magic Media Day, but this is the first detailed look at the upcoming release.

The Crazy Light 2 Low will be a nice change for Afflalo, who has been committed to the Superstar 2G and 3G models in recent years. In addition to the collar drop, the tongue takes on a new shape, Stripes have been moved to the sides and adidas branding adorns the heel. These aren't expected to hit retail until early next year.

these must be great to hit the gym with... i wouldn't ball in them, tho...

Wouldn't it be the opposite? Choose a nice padded, comfortable shoe to work out in and swap to the lightweight but not-so-padded balling shoe?

Nope. You want as little as possible when weight lifting.

+1 - the balance will be affected (negatively) by ANY cushion.. main reason why toe-shoes are used by body builders/weight lifters

I use the og crazy lights lows when lifting

ehh theyre ok
the shoe itself is scrap like all other adidas, as far as Aaron it'll be intresting how he does this year; especially in Orlando
Not gonna lie, I really knew nothing personally about Aaron, except UCLA, but after watching this I really want this dude to succeed in Orlando.
Breakout year!!!
