Andy Murray Wins Wimbledon In The adidas Barricade 7.0
words // Brandon Richard
An event 77 years in the making, Andy Murray defeated top-seeded Novak Djokovic in yesterday's Wimbledon final to become the first British man to win the tournament since Fred Perry in 1936.
Though the match finishes in straight sets, it was closely contested, each man forcing the other to run down one tough shot after another. Murray broke Djokovic seven times on Sunday, more than he had been broken in his six previous matches combined. Up 5-4 in the third set and on serve, Murray squandered away triple championship point, only to battle his way back to a historic win.
With footwear being such a controversial topic throughout this year's Wimbledon, Murray won the tournament in a white-based colorway of the adidas Barricade 7.0. The model has been Murray's go-to for the past two seasons. Last September, he won the US Open in a navy and gold colorway.

Because he's not better than Djokovic, pretty easy to understand. He's won 2 majors now, and the olympic gold. I give him credit where credit is due. He stepped up huge, took the weight of the country and made them proud. But novak is the man. Guaransheed Novak wins the next major.
