An Oregon Ducks-themed Nike Zoom Turf Released Today

Yet another Ducks-inspired sneaker is making its way to retail, this time atop one of the most iconic Nike Training models of the mid 90's.

Ever since the floodgates for exclusive kicks were opened in 2005 with the creation of a school exclusive Zoom LeBron II, Nike has routinely been showing love to the University of Oregon. The brand's founder, Phil Knight, is of course one of the school's most famous alumni, and can often be seen courtside at basketball games and roaming the field on Saturdays at Autzen Stadium.

While it all started out with limited footwear just for the Men's Basketball and Football squads, Nike has in recent times launched several UO-themed sneakers at retail to the masses.

We've seen Hyperdunks, Foamposites and several models from the Nike Training category, and the latest school spirited model to hit retail is this black and green colorway of the Zoom Turf. With a "carbon fiber"-esque overlay first made popular by the Zoom Flight '95 that originally released during the same era, this pair goes sans yellow and features "O" branding along the collars and outsole.

You can find them now at select Nike accounts and at sneaker boutiques like Sneaker Politics.
