Find out what players around the League are gifting this Christmas

Sneakers make a tempting gift during the holiday season, especially for those of us who follow them closely. Nearly every sneaker fan has probably given the gift of shoes at least once. But, we also probably have all asked the people around us for the gift of sneakers.

It probably doesn’t come as a surprise to hear that NBA players get these same requests at Christmas (as well as the rest of the year). We’ve asked some of our #SoleWatch regulars from around the league how they would be celebrating the holidays this year. Check out their responses.

What sneakers do you get asked for the most this time of year?

"I know a couple of my cousins want some Jordans and some Nikes, so I might have to go out and get them something," - Terrence Ross

"There’s always someone asking me for sneakers. I love shoes. They’re a big part of who I am, and I like to be fashionable. So, everyone wants shoes, and everyone knows their gifts are probably gonna be shoes, because I like people to look fly and have nice shoes. Everybody’s askin for the 11s. We’ll see what happens," - DeMarre Carroll

"Everybody’s in love with Jordans, so that’s the easiest gift to give. Retros are always coming out. Then they’ve got Flight Club, and they always have some hot stuff. A lot of people were not blessed enough to be able to afford stuff like that," - James Johnson

"[My brother] wanted them Derek Jeter 1s, so I had go snatch them for him. I can't really get no other dude no sneaks. That's kinda over the line a little bit." - Jarrett Jack

What sneakers are you gifting yourself this Christmas?

"I’m actually trying to get a whole bunch of shoes customized, so that’ll probably be my gift to myself – just a whole bunch of retros customized for my throwback jerseys," - Terrance Ross

"I’ve got pleanty of sneakers. I don’t need that. I’ve got 800-plus shoes," - Bismack Biyombo

"I just copped the Melo 1s yesterday. I thought those were super dope. I heard the release got pushed back, but I kinda stumbled across them, so I thought 'Hey, why not?'” - Jarrett Jack

"I just go with the flow. My cousins are in a shoe group, so I basically get any shoe I want," - DeMarre Carroll

"I’ve got a lot of work shoes already. It’s pretty much just for the family now. I’m not really into buying myself something," - James Johnson
